Daily Devotion -The Power of Praying God's Word

Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path -Psalm 119:105.

Father in the name of Jesus we commit ourselves to walk in Your Word. We recognize that Your Word is integrity itself -steadfast, eternal, sure, and we trust our lives to it's provision. You have sent forth Your Word into our hearts. We let it dwell in us richly in all wisdom. It does not depart from our mouths. We meditate in it day and night so that we may diligently act on it. Your Word is an incorruptible seed, abiding in our spirit, and it's growing in us mightily producing our nature, our lives.

We thank You Father that Your Word is our counsel, our shield, our buckler, our powerful weapon in battle. It is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our paths. It makes our way straight before us, and we never stumble or fall for our steps are ordered by Your Word.

We recognize the strategies and deceits of satan and we put a stop to them by speaking Your Word out of our mouths in faith. We are confident Father that You're at work in us both to will and to do Your good pleasure.  We exalt Your Word. We hold it in high esteem and give it first place in our lives. We boldly and confidently say that our hearts are fixed and established on the solid foundation -the living Word of God.

We pray that surely goodness and mercy shall follow us all the days of our lives and that we shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever. We see ourselves Lord, just as those who have come to You, and whom You will in no wise cast out. We pray Lord Jesus, that we have heard Your voice and that You know us, and that we follow You and You will give us eternal life and we shall never perish.

We pray that we will not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom We were sealed for the day of redemption. We pray that You God who have begun a good  work in us will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ. We pray that Your faithfulness will establish us and guard us from the evil one. God, You're able to keep us from stumbling and to present us faultless before the presence of Your glory with exceeding joy. We want to say thank You Sir for Your Word. Amen.

Encouragement: Stay in God's Word. It's total provision for us.
