Good Friday Morning To Everyone

For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. 2 Corinthians 5:21 NKJV

It is a GOOD day to die today. For those of us who haven't done so as yet be reminded of the scripture...
² For He says:

“In an acceptable time I have heard you,
And in the day of salvation I have helped you.”^[a]

Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation -2 Cor. 6:2.

 

We all have to die to self to inherit eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord whose physical death we commemorate on this Good Friday. Be advised that he didn't remain dead in a grave somewhere.

He triumphantly rose and declared His victory over death and hell and demonstrated to us that we have all power given to us when we accept Him as our Lord and savior.

 

All God's children were nailed to the cross with him because we were in Him with all our sins. Past present and future. I know it's a mystery and to the common man this sounds like foolishness. That is why we encourage everyone to accept Jesus as their personal Savior and Lord. Then you will know the Holy Spirit who comes and dwell in our hearts when we do accept Jesus and the Holy Spirit will reveal all truths to us which are mysteries until revealed and understood by each and everyone of God's children.

 

Yes it is a GOOD day to die. Die to self. Die to lying. Die to stealing. Die to sexual immorality. Die to debauchery. Die to selfishness. Die to unkindness. Die to all sins. Die! Die! Die!  Now live to God's eternal plans for you. Live your destiny in Jesus Christ!

 

Prayer: Lord let us die daily in our mortal flesh and live for Jesus, eternally. Amen.

Thankfulness and Prayer

³ I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, ⁴ always in every prayer of mine making request for you all with joy, ⁵ for your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now, ⁶ being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ; ⁷ just as it is right for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart, inasmuch as both in my chains and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel, you all are partakers with me of grace. ⁸ For God is my witness, how greatly I long for you all with the affection of Jesus Christ.

Christ Is Preached

¹² But I want you to know, brethren, that the things which happened to me have actually turned out for the furtherance of the gospel, ¹³ so that it has become evident to the whole palace guard, and to all the rest, that my chains are in Christ; ¹⁴ and most of the brethren in the Lord, having become confident by my chains, are much more bold to speak the word without fear.
¹⁵ Some indeed preach Christ even from envy and strife, and some also from goodwill: ¹⁶ The former^[b] preach Christ from selfish ambition, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my chains; ¹⁷ but the latter out of love, knowing that I am appointed for the defense of the gospel. ¹⁸ What then? To Live Is Christ

Striving and Suffering for Christ

Fellowship with Him and One Another

Palm Sunday

The Triumphal Entry

²⁸ When He had said this, He went on ahead, going up to Jerusalem. ²⁹ And it came to pass, when He drew near to Bethphage^[c] and Bethany, at the mountain called Olivet, that He sent two of His disciples, ³⁰ saying, “Go into the village opposite you, where as you enter you will find a colt tied, on which no one has ever sat. Loose it and bring it here. ³¹ And if anyone asks you, ‘Why are you loosing it?’ thus you shall say to him, ‘Because the Lord has need of it.’”

³² So those who were sent went their way and found it just as He had said to them. ³³ But as they were loosing the colt, the owners of it said to them, “Why are you loosing the colt?”

Jesus Weeps over Jerusalem

Living Before the World

Submission to Government

Submission to Masters

The Last Enemy Destroyed

Confidence and Compassion in Prayer

¹⁴ Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. ¹⁵ And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.
¹⁶ If anyone sees his brother sinning a sin which does not lead to death, he will ask, and He will give him life for those who commit sin not leading to death. There is sin leading to death. I do not say that he should pray about that. ¹⁷ All unrighteousness is sin, and there is sin not leading to death.

Knowing the True—Rejecting the False

¹⁸ We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself,^[e] and the wicked one does not touch him.
¹⁹ We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one.
²⁰ And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.
