Daily Devotions -From The Unknown Author

He was born in an obscure village, the child of a peasant woman. He grew up in another village, where He worked in a carpenter shop until He was thirty. Then for three years He was an itinerant preacher.

He never wrote a book. He never held an office. He never travelled more than two hundred miles from the place where He was born. He did none of the things one usually associates with greatness.

He was only thirty-three when the tide of public opinion turned against Him. He was turned over to His enemies and went through the mockery of a trial. He was nailed to a cross between two thieves. When He was dead, He was laid in a borrowed grave.

Twenty centuries have come and gone, and today He is the central figure of the human race and leader of mankind's progress.

All the armies that ever marched, all the navies that ever sailed, all the kings that ever reigned, have not affected the life of man as much as that one solitary life.

Daily Devotion - Stand Up And Tell Me If You Know My Jesus!!!

He knew the wretch I would be, yet He loved me. While He was on the cross each of us was on His mind. That is why I can join with all those in His family who have been washed in the fountain and cleansed by His blood and say, Amazing grace how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me. I once was lost but now I'm found, was blind but thank God I now can see.

That is why I know He loves me and that's the reason I love Him -because He first loved me- Jesus is the lover of my soul. Jesus is the healer of my sin sick soul. Jesus is the deliverer of my oppressed and captive soul. Jesus is the Author and Finisher of my faith. That is why I love Him so, Jesus is my all in all.

Prayer: Jesus I'm in love with You my Lord and my Savior. There is none other but You. There is none like You. My Jesus I'd rather to have You than anything this whole world has to offer me.

Encouragement: If you don't love Him, you don't know Him. Get to know Him.

Daily Devotion - The Complete Work Of Our Savior

How blessed is he whose trespasses has freely been forgiven. Whose sin is totally washed away, by the blood of Jesus Christ. And now stands holy, before the sight of heaven.
WHEN WE'RE FORGIVEN, NO RECORD IS KEPT OF OUR PAST FAILURES.

Prayer: Thank You for Your perfect work of salvation for the fallen human race Lord.

Encouragement: As by one man's (Adam) sin death came into the world even so by one man's (Jesus).
17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)
18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.
19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous -Rom. 5:17-19

Daily Devotion - Our Audience Of One (1)

And in the process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the Lord. 4. And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the Lord had respect unto Abel and to his offering. 5. But unto Cain and to his offering He had not respect (Gen. 4:3-5).

Hosanna, blessed are You O Lord our God, Hosanna in the highest. Lord You deserve the highest praise, Hallelujah! We give You our best today because You deserve the best. Lord we remember how Abel gave You His best and received not only Your richest blessings but Your highest commendations and we remember David, a man after Your own heart getting all the raw materials for the building of Your house prepared in abundance. Before he died he made sure his son Solomon had everything he needed to build the temple -an enormous quantity of gold, silver, bronze, iron, timber, stone, and skilled craftsmen (1 Chron. 22:14-15).
Whatever we do, let us do our best for our audience of One (1).

Prayer: Lord thank You for receiving from us just what we are able to do which is our best and adding your super to our natural. In Jesus name, Amen.

Encouragement: Whatever you do for God, give it your best.

Daily Devotion - Friendship

Good morning family. Remember the old saying, to make friends one has to be friendly, it is still true and effective today. To be a good friend, we must love others, respect others, understand people, and care for people. Have a heart to help when there is the need for it. Jesus said, no longer do I call you servants ... but I have called you friends. That is why we can cast all our cares on Him. In other words, it's not just what we can get out of a friendship but what can we give into it that will be of benefit to the friends involved. That is so wonderful, Jesus calls me His friend. That is what I call friendship with benefit. I am a friend of God and so are you!!! Everyone, if you're feeling what I'm feeling as you read this, If you feel God's presence so close that you're being overshadowed right now then please join me in this brief prayer...
Thank You God for making me your friend. Amen!!!

Daily Devotion - He Calls Me Friend

I'd rather walk in the dark with God than go alone in the light; I'd rather walk by faith with Him than go alone by sight.
WHERE GOD GUIDES, HE PROVIDES.

Daily Devotion - Blessings

Today is the day the Lord has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it.
Every good and perfect gift is from God.
God gave this day a gift to us and we dedicate this day to God.
Every plan and purpose of God for us in this day is fulfilled.
We receive every blessing in store for us today from our Father God.

We are blessed, we are blessed, we are blessed.
We are blessed in the city. We're blessed in the field.
We're blessed when we come and when we go.
We cast down every stronghold.
Sickness and poverty must cease.
The devil is defeated in the name of Jesus Christ today.

Jesus has conquered Satan and made us victorious.
We have the keys to the kingdom.
Whatever we bind on earth is already bound in heaven.
Whatever we loose on earth is already loosed in heaven.
We have power over the power of the enemy.
We have the power to walk on serpents and scorpions.
The devil is under our feet.

We are His. He calls us by His name.
We are Christians and nothing shall by any means hurt us.
Because we believe in You and have been baptized, we are saved.
In Your name we cast out devils, we speak with new tongues,
We take up serpents and drink deadly things which can not harm us.
We lay hands on the sick and they recover.
We are blessed!

Prayer: Father thank You for your many blessings. Amen!

Encouragement: Take comfort. The greatest gift and blessing is to know that your name is written in the book of life.

Daily Devotion -Salvation

There is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents - Luke 15:10.

God provides redemption to any human being who will repent, believe and receive it.

He says in His word that anyone who comes to Him He will not turn away. He loves us so much and doesn't want any one of us to perish.

He states in John 3:16, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."

He also says he stands at the heart door and knock and if anyone opens to Him He will come in and sup with him -Rev 3:20. Today if you hear his voice, harden not your heart and if you're going through something understand that you can call on the Lord while he may be found seek Him while He may be found.

If any one calls on the name of Jesus they shall be saved and their household also.

Let nothing stop you from turning to the Lord. He is ready to receive you with open arms. He loves you so much. He wants you to have what's best for you and only he can give it to you. Accept Him today. You'll be very happy you did.

Prayer: Lord woo my brother to you as he reds these words on this page today. Woo my sister to You through the same process we pray in Jesus name. Amen.

Encouragement: Accept Jesus as your Savior and Lord today. There is no need to put this off. It's the most important decision you'll ever make in your life.

Anyone can follow a path, but only a leader can blaze one.

And everyone who was in distress, everyone who was in debt, and everyone who was discontented gathered to (David). So he became captain over them. And there were about four hundred men with him -1 Sam. 22:2.
When you know whose you are, where you're going, and whose hand you're in. It doesn't matter who wants to be with you, the halt, the lame, the downtrodden, the rejected, the depressed. Take them all with you. After all, who holds you in His hand is able to take care of everyone.
When God decided to raise up a nation of His own, He did not call upon the masses. He called out one leader- Abraham. When He wanted to deliver His people out of Egypt, He didn't guide them as a group. He raised up a leader to do it- Moses. When it came time for the people to cross into the promised land, they followed one man- Joshua.
Every time God desired to do something great, He called a leader to step forward. Today He still calls leaders to step forward for every good work- both small and great.

Prayer: Father let us never judge anyone for we are all Your handmade. Give us a heart and a passion for the lost in Jesus name. Amen.
Encouragement: James 2:1-9.

His Plan And Purpose

God has a plan and a purpose for everyone, even before we came into existence in time.
Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; before you were norn I snctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations - Jer. 1:5.
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil,  to give you a future and a hope - Jer. 29:11.
For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren -Rom. 8:29.

It's The Lord's Day

Good morning everyone. I know many have already started their day. I just want to encourage everyone that as it's the Lord's day, let us give Him His desire. Let us present ourselves, living saccrifice, holy, acceptable unto Him as this is our reasonable form of worship every day. God bless your fellowship and worship experience together today.

Daily Devotion- His Plan And Purpose For us In 2012

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope - Jer. 29:11.

It's a brand new year and at this time many people set goals for themselves which includes resolutions for their family, job, church attendance and involvement and other interests. While this may be a positive intention many never get staeted on these endeavors while most who do get started never go through to the end.

The most important thing to do each new year is find out what God's plans are for us and try our best to live our lives according to His purpose. We know that from Jeremiah chapter 29 and verse 11 God knows the plan He has for us. He knows the thoughts He thinks toward us which are thoughts of peace and not of evil. To give us a bright future and hope. He is omniscient and therefore knows our beginning to our end. Our future is in His hands or His control. So we need not busy ourselves with unnecessary plans. A man's heart plans his ways but the Lord directs His steps.

This is the conclusion of the whole matter. Love and obey God. Will to do His will, thereby allowing God to carry out His plan and so you will be happy and He will be well pleased with you.

Prayer: Lord in this new year 2012, we want our new year's resolution to be in line with Your plans for us. Please lead us to be obedient to You and fulfill Your purpose for us.

Encouragement: Will to do God's will and everything will fall in place for this new year 2012.
